Joyous celebration is the biggest choir in Africa. This group has been on the industry for the past 16 years and they are still going strong.Th founders being Jabu Hlongwane , Lindelani Mkhize and Mthunzi Namba. They established the group their main goal being to help young and developing artists to shape their careers in the music industry . Mthunzi Namba said they prune and teach alot of things to these young stars when interviewed on its gospel time on Sunday. The thing that makes me to write about this group is that they are not only growing but they are making big stars. This is giving back to the communities that build you. It is said that giving back to the community is the best PR that can never be ignored. This is vey exciting because the same people that are singing fo Joyous Celebration are the ones that were followers(community members).On that note Joyous celebration has produced alot of stars.  Early this July Sunday world wrote a story about Jabu Hlongwane who is a pastor at Cross Ministries in Sandton and a co-founder of Joyous Celebration which is the most selling gospel group in South Africa .The group that gives young artists a platform to showcase their talents. He was accused of cheating with a close colleague's wifehttp://www.sundayworld.co.za/news/2011/12/04/joyous-jabu-in-sex-scandal-oh-baby. According to comments in the article a lot of  his fans are very upset about this scandal but some do no believe such allegations.Those that do not believe what the media published  , is it because they now perceive the media as tigers that are hungry to sabotage a person or they are just faithful fans? This I am saying because a lot of times we see the same people who are being eaten by the media being interviewed . They all are singing the same song that media are always looking for some stories they even make up stories in order to make money. One would even say some are running away from the truth and blame media. This controversy will never end its actually a blame-blame situation . The sad part though is that we as the audience remain confused to what exactly is the real truth. We are being used terrible by both the media and celebrities.

  Lady Gaga is coming to South Africa ,apparently not everyone is pleased about that.There is a group on facebook that has been created by christians in order to stop Lady Gaga from coming to South Africahttp://www.channel24.co.za/Music/News/Lady-Gaga-coming-to-SA-20120618.  They have created a petition in which all people who do not want this popstar singer to come to South Africa have to sign it. Social media is rapidly growing and helping many people to drive out their messages across. Many are creating public opinion through these plartforms. South African christians are doing it,they say that they do not want t his artist to come and perform because its being said she is a confessed satanistand a very bad influence to the youth. I say yes , she is a satanist. lets consider her videos:
* There is oral sex
* Her make-up is too much
* She stripps her clothes off, she wears as little as possible
*Dark and hidden messages in her songs
What ever you may call it it does not seem rihgt to me. The word of god says"in the end there will be false prophets,people who glorify themselves(who want to make themselves known around the world just like her).so, keep watch of what you do and who you follow make sure they do not lead you astray. However my focus is on the way christians are trying to stop her from coming to south Africa. I think it could work; It has worked before. TRUE CHRISTIANITY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

True Christianity implies that you leave all the earthly things, these include going to parties , being sexual active and disrespecting among other things. Don't you think that if we all lived such a life a world would be a better place? All the things that are happening now would not be happening . For instance, the high percentage of teenage pregnancy. According Siyanqoba beat it one in three teenager fall pregnant each and everyday.Also in 2006 registered live births in the Department of home affairs were 13346 119 and 158 842 being teenage mothers. If we could just live by true faith and true christianity this problem would decrease.This problem is leading our youth to not complete schooling . When christ is in you ,you do not care aboout the Earthly things anymore. Even if temptations come you overcome because of the Jesus in you. Where will our youngstars be if they continue to gamble with their lives? Are these earthly things more important than your life? importat more than your future?

I saw this headline on the street pole and I was very much interested in reading it. When reading it the Pastor actualy promised to raise the deceased.Then i ask myself what exatly is the function of a pastor? http://www.biblicalperspectives.com/books/women_church/4.htmlThe role of a pastor is to represent the congregation,to be a worshiper ,to set good examples to the fellow saints ,an administrator and has a certain gift from God (corinthians). To go around making certain promises is certanly not setting good examples. Yes a man of God must be able to perfom miracles only to show the power of God, not empwering themselves. How true is it that the pastor actually promised to raise the dead? As we all Know that Daily Sun is actuallly not a credible source. The thing that really worries me is that the media frames certain things to the society . They have framed the pastor as a person who raises the dead. That's not what a pastor is ordained to do. How long will the media continue to brainwash our minds on meaning of things? Especially christianity. The media give thier own definition of what christianity is and I am definately sure that these definitions they give are not what in reality christianity is.

 Red Bull has made an advertisement where Jesus walk on water but one of the desciples ask if its one of his miracles, the other responds and says that its probably the Red Bull that he drank. This is not the first time they do so. There was also an advertisement that was about Christianity where the Angels where said to have wings because they drank red bull .I really find it very disturbing for red bull to belittle christianity like this. When ask to comment the communication department of red bull said that they where just kidding around. Where do you begin to build your communication strategy on such a risky topic as this? Why do you kid on things like this? Well this kidding has surely destroyed their reputation because many christians are not ever going support it. A Catholic Bishop has even argued christians to stop supporting it. Their communication managers are surely against religion. Why do they continue using christianity even if they were banned the first time around? I really do not understand. Do we then say ,God is punishing him? we do know. Well I hope all the bad publicity has made them realise that you do not play with Christianity.

THE LIGHT OUTSHINES THE DARKNESS

                                              

In the beggining God saw that the light was good he seperated it from the darkness, Genesis 1 verse four .What exatly is the light and what is darkness? The light is defined as  everything that is bright ,visible to the eye,clear and bright. The darkness is the absence of light . all the things that are not clear, they are gloomy, blank and not visible. When God created the world why did he seperate the two? Why was the light good than the darkness? When it is night the lights go out and it is very scary to stay in the night/darkness. John 12 verse 25 says that a man that walks in the dark does not know where he is going. can you see that the darkness has no good things at all ,that is why god saw the light as good . Biblically a person who is not saved is compared to the man that is walking in the darkness. it is so because if you are living to satisfy your flesh you have not yet seen the light, you do not have any authority over your flesh but it owns you. If you are in the dark do not despair there is a saver who will take you away from the darkness and walk you in the light. It is Jesus Christ. Ask yourself in which world do you belong to? is the gloomy world or the visible world?
